Job Overview
Our client is on the lookout for a distinguished civil engineer with expertise in water and sewer infrastructure design and consulting to bolster their expanding Cincinnati office. This is a prime opportunity to deepen your knowledge by working alongside a team of seasoned professional engineers.
The role encompasses a range of technical tasks related to the design and management of distribution, collection, and stormwater systems, as well as associated infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Developing design criteria for assigned projects
- Creating detailed plans and contract specifications
- Collaborating with Project Managers and CAD Modelers
- Conducting fieldwork (which may occasionally involve travel to job sites)
- Assessing and recommending appropriate equipment and materials
- Producing written reports outlining necessary improvements for municipal facilities
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability and willingness to obtain one.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience.
Specific Qualifications
- Possession of a PE license
- Essential: 4-10 years of experience in designing water distribution and wastewater (sewer) collection systems.
- Desirable: Experience with stormwater design, pump stations, water towers, and master planning. Over time, the
successful candidate may have the opportunity to lead water and sewer master planning projects.
