Freelance Creative Designer

About the Role

We’re looking for a freelance creative designer who can turn complex ideas into clean, modern, high-conversion visual assets. This is a contract role working on a project-by-project basis across content, marketing, and investor materials.

Your work will directly support founder-focused brands and fast-moving startups; clarity, speed, and brand consistency are everything.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll be the go-to designer for:

Long-Form + Technical Design

• White papers
• Case studies
• Data sheets / one-pagers
• Downloadable PDFs

Brand + Visual Storytelling

• Pitch decks (internal + investor-ready)
• LinkedIn carousel posts
• Social templates
• Content series visuals

Web + Conversion Assets

• Landing pages (Figma or Canva; bonus if light Webflow experience)
• Email graphics
• Lead gen assets

Responsibilities

• Translate written content and strategic ideas into polished, easy-to-understand visual assets
• Maintain consistent brand aesthetics across multiple asset types
• Create templates that are reusable and scalable for future content
• Collaborate closely with marketing and leadership to refine visuals and messaging
• Work quickly with clear communication and reliable turnaround times
• Bring new creative ideas and best practices for social and founder-led content

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience (freelance or in-house)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clarity, simplicity, and clean visual systems
• Proficiency in Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign)
• Ability to design for both long-form documents and short-form social content
• Experience formatting white papers, decks, and data sheets for readability
• Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments
• Excellent grasp of hierarchy, layout, and storytelling
• BONUS: Light Webflow or HTML/CSS experience
