Job Overview:
The Java Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications that support our mission-critical projects. This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful application implementation.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to software design and development processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance development practices.
- Ensure applications meet security requirements and follow best practices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Java applications as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer.
- Proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based technologies.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
