Our client, a Canadian technology company with applications in pollution abatement, nutrition, the food, and cannabis industries, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop efficient and cost-effective proposals, projects, and solutions.
- Prepare project proposals and estimate labor and equipment budgets.
- Define the engineering scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
- Prepare Scope of Work documentation for project tasks and RFP packages.
- Possess strong knowledge of EPC project documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, piping, controls, etc.).
- Prepare engineering reports, technical datasheets, and project specifications.
- Develop and detail mechanical engineering designs.
- Travel to job sites as required by the project (50%).
- Liaise with customers and contractors to provide information and technical analysis.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or a similar field with 5 years of experience.
- Registered P.Eng certification is an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Wastewater treatment, or Pulp & Paper industries is an asset.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Skills:
- Extensive experience working on EPC projects.
- Mandatory knowledge of AutoCAD; SolidWorks is an asset.
- Strong project management skills, with PMP certification preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Project to maintain updated project documentation.
