Position Overview
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and customizing Shopify stores. This role requires expertise in front-end and back-end development on the Shopify platform, as well as a keen eye for user experience, performance, and clean code. You’ll collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to create seamless, engaging, and fully optimized eCommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and templates to meet client requirements.
– Build and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations with third-party tools and APIs.
– Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure visual and functional consistency across all eCommerce platforms.
– Implement responsive design and ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers.
– Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges.
– Apply SEO best practices to Shopify sites to enhance search engine rankings.
– Provide insights and recommendations on Shopify platform best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
– Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and liquid templating language.
– Solid understanding of Shopify’s API and app ecosystem, with experience in integrating third-party APIs.
– Familiarity with backend development and server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Ruby) is a plus.
– Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
– Strong attention to detail, with a focus on clean code and performance optimization.
– Ability to work independently in a freelance environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Nice-to-Haves:
– Experience with Shopify Plus.
– Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, user experience, and conversion optimization.
– Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus.
