What This Role Is

This is an execution role, not a coordination role.

You’ll spend most of your time finding, qualifying, and moving talent for North American and global roles. When sourcing demand is lighter, you’ll switch gears and help source new client opportunities (founders, operators, hiring managers).

Core Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Recruiting (Primary)

  • Source candidates for roles across tech, sales, operations, and leadership
  • Use LinkedIn, job boards, outbound sourcing, referrals, and creative search methods
  • Run first-round interviews (screening + structured questions)
  • Assess candidates for skill, communication, and startup/scaleup fit
  • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate follow-ups
  • Prepare clean candidate summaries and interview notes
  • Handle recruiting admin:
    • Candidate tracking
    • Offer paperwork
    • Contracts / basic compliance support
  • Keep pipelines moving fast, no bottlenecks, no ghosting

Business Development Support (Secondary)

  • Research and source potential new clients (founders, operators, hiring leaders)
  • Build targeted prospect lists (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, outbound tools, etc.)
  • Support outbound messaging and follow-ups
  • Track responses and keep CRM / sheets clean
  • Surface warm leads and insights back to the team

Requirements

  • 2+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent ops (agency or in-house)
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Comfortable interviewing candidates live (video calls)
  • Experience sourcing for North American or global roles
  • Highly organized, details matter here
  • Able to overlap with North American working hours

Nice to Have

  • Agency recruiting background
  • Startup or small business experience
  • Outbound sales or BDR experience
  • Familiarity with ATS, CRMs, or sourcing tools
